SURFACE HARDNESS:
64 Rc min. to 71 Rc max. 001'' thickness per side. (as
determined by Knoop Microhardness testing). Beneath the wear
layer a hardened diffusion zone with a 55 RC to 40 RC at .020
depth. This offers excellent support and dent resistance to the
overlying wear layer without creating the machining difficulties
inherent with induction hardening.
SURFACE FINISH:
16 RMS max.
Surface colour is black
CORROSION RESISTANCE :
NITROTEC = 100 HOURS (STANDARD)
