CLOSER TOLERANCES - A better fit for your
packings
BETTER SURFACE FINISH - Because the I.D. surface is honed before
chroming, it means all surface imperfections pits, scores,
laminations are eliminated thus providing improved seal life.
BETTER SIDE-LOADING CAPACITY - The chromed I.D surface as well
as the steel sub-surface provide excellent resistance to scoring
and wear-including severe conditions.
DENT AND TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE - The steel allows high
resistance to external damage and will operate in high
temperature ranges.
LOW COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION - Lower break-away and operating
pressures and longer seal life are benefits due to very low
coefficient of static and dynamic friction.
MATERIAL - is produced to ASTM A-519 Seamless C-1015 to 1026 and
ASTM A-513 in D.O.M. Stress Relieved Annealed.
Tensil - Minimum 70,000 P.S.I
Yield - Minimum 60,000 P.S.I
Steel Hardness - 87 R B min.
